Autonomous vehicle testing soon in California

In California testing autonomous vehicle will be allowed in the near future, but not for the future. Department of motor vehicles in America’s biggest market will soon issue regulations trials autonomous cars on public roads without having to be assisted by the driver behind the steering wheel.

At this time, the existing regulation, which still regulate autonomous vehicle must be equipped conventional manual controls such as the steering wheel and pedals as well as the driver behind the wheel. But for the proposal of new regulations, car manufacturers will be conducting trials without the autonomous car equipped with the rider and the equipment, but still must meet safety standards.

Testing autonomous car should be controlled by the operator in control and monitor the testing process currently done is done. California will be the state that gives the freedom to conduct testing autonomous cars. It is estimated there will be 27 manufacturer to be licensed to perform testing autonomous cars, such as BMW, Tesla, Delphi, Nvidia, Waymo, AutoX, NextEV, and Faraday Future. In addition, Uber reportedly will also get the license.

In 2020-2021, Several car manufacturers will be planning to release a car that is fully autonomous. In fact there have been several predictions appear in the future of children today no longer need a license drive.
