2019 Hyundai Tucson Concept
Korean automaker would like to show to the global market that they are ready to offer the new edition of 2019 Hyundai Tucson. It will be the new crossover with the more attractive design. Its bodywork is bigger than before and it is expected to come with the new turbocharged engine 1.6 liter I-4 for its performance to make it great as Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and Ford Escape. 2019 Tucson is designed with the upgraded materials for the cabin with the improved technology and security system.

2019 Hyundai Tucson with the new design will have about 1.2 inches of longer wheelbase, 1 inch of wider and 3 inches of longer bodywork. There is also a grid with three-massive line with the chrome accents on its front. It is also designed with the daytime running lights for both headlights and the fog lights have LED system. The back side is much more modern with the striking gateway, new exhaust system and the roof spoiler.
Its standard alloy wheels are in size of 17 inches with the optional about 19 inches. The quality materials are better than before with more equipment to give higher level of comfort. There is also new eight-inch of TFT display with updated navigation, infotainment, SiriusXM channel, Travel Link and Tune Start and also a USB port for its center console.

Under the hood, there will be two engines to offer with different performance. The first is 1.6 liter inline-four turbocharged engine that is borrowed from Hyundai Sonata Eco. It has direct injected system with the capability to produce about 175 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired to the dual clutch seven-speed auto transmission and front axle. The fuel consumption for FWD setup could be about 25/30/27 mpg in city/highway/average while the other has 24/28/26 mpg city/highway/average through AWD. This engine is offered for all trim excluding the base SE.
The alternative is inline-four 2.0 liter with 165 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. This engine is supported with six-speed auto transmission with either FWD or AWD. Its fuel consumption is 23/31/27 mpg city/highway/average with FWD while the AWD is 21/26/23 mpg city/highway/average for 2017 Tucson.
2019 Hyundai Tucson Release Date and Price
2019 Hyundai Tucson is cheaper than Honda’s and Toyota’s model. The sales could be started in the beginning of 2019 with the price tag for the base version is $22,700 (FWD) or $24,845 (AWD).
